Does anyone know how I can deactivate my store? I tried to deactivate my store in July of 2021, but then I got a “You’ve reached the maximum number of password attempts. Please try again later” message. When I tried again later, the message kept popping up, so I decided to put my store on a 3 month break because that was the only thing I could do that was free. After the three months my store was got put on pause and build, and I was charged $37.21 in November, and then $43.98 just a few days ago. I’m frustrated because I got charged over $80 for a store that I’m not even using anymore. Now I tried to deactivate my store, but I got the same message after I mis-typed my password a few times “You’ve reached the maximum number of password attempts. Please try again later”. Is there any solution to this problem? I know what my password is, I just misspelled it a few times.

If you can’t remember your password, it is best to reset it completely:
This option should show for you when you go to log in, you will have one screen for entering your email address and a second screen for your password. Could you try to reset your password first? It is best to wait roughly 12 hours after your last “too many attempts” warning, just so you are clear of the timeframe for attempting a password again.
If resetting is still showing issues for you and you still can’t log into your admin, it is best to reach out to our support team here via live chat. Our team there can authenticate you fully and they can help you close your account! Our team may be able to help with a refund for your previous month’s subscription fees if you can contact them as soon as you can after the invoice has been issued.
