I Want to Remove My Domain Name From a Closed Shopify Store. How to do it Please?

When I try to connect my Domain name to a new store it shows me an error. I have contacted Shopify support and posted my issue in here, I keep getting the answer of “The team is working on removing your domain” PLEASE HELP!! I have been asking for help for a week and I get no answer:(

Hi @Sovagex Did you bought the domain from shopify or from 3rd party website?

If you bought it from shopify then there is no option and you need to connect with shopify support, they are the one that can help you in this situation.

If you bought it from 3rd party website then you can try to remove the Cname and A record from the DNS and add the new Cname and A record that is shown in your current new store.

Hi @Sovagex So if you have purchase the domain from namecheap then you can just remove the previous A record and C name from the namecheap and add the new A record and C name to connect it.
