Do you need to use a Backup such as " Rewind Backups" to backup Shopify data?
Isn’t the data all stored on the cloud anyway?
Great question. Shopify and most other cloud services have a backup that covers a major disaster - fire in their data centre, meteorite hitting their servers - but this isn’t useful when something happens to just your account. If something happens to your account their backup cannot be used to recover your data. (If you’d like to test this delete a test product from your store, then contact support to see if it can be recovered. Don’t do that with a real product though!)
