Paying Shopify Account - How many online stores can I build for the fee?
I want to have several single-product stores - do I need a separate Shopify account for each of them?
Topic summary
Main topic: how Shopify fees and payments work when running multiple stores or multiple suppliers.
- A community reply states there is only one store per one Shopify subscription fee; separate stores require separate subscriptions.
- The original poster plans several single‑product stores and asks if multiple AliExpress suppliers can be managed within a single store without technical issues.
Payment and fulfilment questions (unanswered):
- If a cart contains items from different AliExpress dropshipping suppliers, how is the customer’s payment divided among supplier payments and the merchant’s share?
- Will delivery logistics pose technical problems when items come from different suppliers?
Context/terms:
- Dropshipping: products are fulfilled and shipped directly by third‑party suppliers after purchase.
Outcome: One clear answer on store-per-subscription. Follow‑up questions about multi‑supplier payments and fulfilment remain open; no resolution or action items yet.
Hi @JanuszOlewicz !
You can only have one store per one Shopify subscription fee.
##- Thank you for your answer.
If I create one store and each product will be from a different supplier
from Aliexpress - will there be any technical problems with this and with
delivery and payments. Because if there are 3 products in the cart, each
from a different dropshipping supplier from Aliexpress, how will Shopify
divide the amount to be paid into payments to suppliers from Aliexpress and
my share from the sale?
Sincerely,
