Shopify Store became unavailable after an attempt to pay the plan

Hello,

We have build a full store during the Shopify Trial period and we was about to launch and start selling. We have invested in marketing strategy for the store launch and the last bit we needed to do is pay our plan to go live.

Unfortunately, 4 days ago when we made an attempt to pay it, Shopify instantly shutdown the store and the website + back-end dashboard became unavailable.

We have reached out to support , so they can escalate a case for this. The current Shopify Representative have said to us that this is very unusual and strange and that the higher ups needs to look into this.

It is very frustrating as we have put a lot of money in development / marketing to get our store shut down like that without any notice.

Has anyone had similar experience to this? Thanks! Would also like to hear what’s your opinion on this instant shutdown without any prior warning , etc.

P.S. We are selling 100% Herbal supplements that are not restricted to be sold.

Thank you for your reply, however I do not see how this is related to our case.

UPDATE: Our store has been locked since Thursday evening. Shopify still hasn’t got back to us about it. We have a case number, but still no update on this. It is really frustrating and we do not know what to do now.

Hi, @RNG1!

I understand how important it is to have your store up and running again! There is a process that our teams execute when putting a lock on a store. You have mentioned that you’ve got a ticket number but no response yet. It shouldn’t take any longer than 7 days to receive a response from the appropriate team - have you received a response since you had last posted in this thread?
