Store Feedback Help

Hi,

I have a website which is a baby brand (www.cute-cub-club.com) and whilst I get traffic, I’m getting next to no sales. Can you give me some feedback for this? I run Meta Ads and Tiktok Ads.

Thanks in advance

Hi @CuteCubClub ! I’m Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

I took a quick look around your website, and I must say, it’s really impressive. There are a few things I think you could improve to make it even better:

  1. For the image section, I’d suggest breaking it up into separate collections instead of grouping everything together. This would make it look cleaner and more organized. Also, adding names to the collections will help customers quickly understand what they’re looking at.

  1. The testimonials don’t seem very genuine. This could make customers question their authenticity and feel uneasy. Instead, it might be more reassuring to use product reviews, as that tends to build trust better.

  1. On smaller screens, I had trouble finding the “Add to Cart” button. You might want to review the product page layout a bit more. Also, personally, I feel the color contrast is a bit low, which made it harder to process the information on the page quickly.

  1. The product images are nice, but they could be a bit more striking. Perhaps you could consider changing the images to make them look more professional and eye-catching. Just a thought!

I hope my suggestions help make your website even better. Wishing you the best of luck!

If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a ‘LIKE’ or marking it as a ‘SOLUTION’.

Hi,

I took a look at your site. One thing I noticed is you have an image carousel. People do not like those.

  1. You can take all the images from the carousel and make them into 1 image.

Then, use an app called Shoppable Image Hotspots,

The app allows you to add a link to products that you show in images, it will make your design look more clean.

  1. Another thing you can do is instead of offering discounts on individual products, offer a sitewide discount and advertise it on the home page.

  2. I would move the “Where We Started” section to your About Us page because it is not related to buying products.

  3. For blog posts, add a link to your blog in the nav bar for the same reason.

You want people to buy products? Make that the only option for someone on the home page.

Hi there, I’m Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder.

Congrats on your new store! The website is informative & looks majestic. I had a good experience exploring it. However, from my Conversion Rate Optimization expertise, I would like to give you some suggestions regarding the store design to make the store more stunning and better convert.

1. General

  • Improve the header & footer

The header currently cuts the content of the hero banner and so it’s a bit overwhelming. I recommend you rearrange it to get a better visual for the header.

  • Announcement bar with countdown timer:

It seems you are running on a promotion for Christmas, you can consider adding a countdown timer as an announcement bar for limited-time offers to create a sense of urgency and drive conversions. Also it’s important to make it sticky even when scrolling down to keep reminding visitors about the promotion.

You can take this as a reference:

  • Pay attention to not spamming your users with pops-up. The Welcome discount seems not to be clickable so you can consider removing it

2. Homepage

  • Invest more on the hero banner

The hero banner in the homepage is an important touchpoint to impress your customers when they first land on the site. The current banners are cut-off and the key products are not highlighted so it causes visitors to confuse in the first 5 seconds what products you are offering.

You can take it as a reference:

  • Add Feature products section with “Explore more” button

Consider adding your Feature products section to showcase key products of your store and the Explore more button to allow shoppers to view additional products. This would help reduce bounce rate as they can continue to explore other options to their liking, so increase shoppers’ engagement & allow more chances of getting sales.

Reference:

  • Key USPs using icons

Your current homepage lacks information about your brand & products. It may increase the bouncing rate as users don’t find important content they need. Helpful, easy-to-see, and unique benefits icons quickly introduce your benefits and give a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition.

Reference:

  • Restructure the testimonials section

The current testimonial layout may break the UI of the page as it doesn’t align and integrate in stylings. Consider to rearrange it as a slideshow / content list

Reference:

3. Product page

  • Use color swatches for product variants

Instead of a dropdown menu for product variants, you can consider using option swatches to showcase different color options of the product. Swatches are intuitive and user-friendly which would enhance the shopper experience.

Reference:

  • Optimize product description display

Your current product description is very lengthy & text-heavy. Consider compressing it into accordions / content tab (collapsible content tabs) so that your product pages look better-structured & the shoppers’ experience is enhanced.

That’s all of my feedback. I hope it will enhance your website’s look and help you grow sales. Feel free to reach me in the reply section if you need further discussions. Wish you luck and endurance on your entrepreneurship journey!

Cheers,

Kate | PageFly Team

Hi, I’m Wayne from Akohub. We have been working with many brands to boost the conversion rate. I have viewed your site and hope our expertise can help you.

First of all, the design of the theme, product and brand information are all well designed and elaborate. One part I would recommend for upgrade is your currently missing a loyalty program widget. Since it is quite essential for earning repeat purchase rate, I think you can consider to integrate one to your site.

Moreover, you can consider leveraging email marketing. It helps you engage directly with customers who have shown interest in your products and encouraging conversions. By sending targeted messages, such as personalized product recommendations, special offers, and reminders for abandoned carts would effectively drive customers back to your site. I would recommend using Klaviyo as your email marketing solution, as it offers automation features that allow you to create tailored email flows based on customer behavior, which enhance customer engagement and ultimately increase sales.

Since you’re already running Meta and TikTok ads, it might also be beneficial to explore retargeting strategies to re-engage visitors who visited your website but didn’t complete their purchases. Our Ako marketing app can help you launch retargeting campaigns that remind customers of their interest in your products, and continued to modify your retargeting content based on the insights collected from our CRM dashboard. This would help you provide more personalized content and have a higher chance to attract potential customers. Meanwhile our app also help stores set up loyalty widget and it integrate with Klaviyo, which help you easily set up loyalty program and launch loyalty program.

Lastly, continually analyze your website’s performance metrics to identify any factors in the purchasing process, ensuring a seamless checkout experience would encourages conversions. With these adjustments, you can create a more compelling shopping experience that resonates with your audience and drives sales.

Best wishes! If you have any more questions or need a free professional consultation, feel free to let us know! Don’t forget to like and mark it as a solution if you find this helpful.

Hi there @CuteCubClub Here are a few suggestions I think you could find really helpful.

  1. You should create a section for latest arrivals in the store to go along with the best sellers action

  2. In line with your store name, the major premise of your store design and marketing wise is based on cuteness. For this reason, I think it would be a wonderful idea to include a number of short cute videos and maybe GIFs in your product gallery

  3. You should showcase some of the accepted methods of payment such as PayPal, Shopify Payments, etc at the bottom of the homepage so that customers can be well aware of what mediums can be used for your products.

Hi @CuteCubClub

Your store design looks great! Here are two improvements to consider:

  1. Add popular or featured products to your homepage so visitors can immediately see what you’re selling.

  2. Add a reviews block. If you have reviews on Google or Trustpilot, consider importing and embedding them for social proof.

Hi @CuteCubClub,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Customer Support and Helpdesk Solution for your Start-up

Congratulations on your new store! It is well-designed and has quite enough essential details. While it’s already great, I do have some suggestions to help make it even better. Here are a few of my recommendations for a better customer experience, please take a look.

1. Optimize the hero section

The hero section is the first thing visitors see and it sets the tone for the entire experience of your web visitors. It plays a key role in converting more sales from your customers too!

Try to take advantage of this by adding a compelling headline. It should be your brand’s slogan or key message that highlights your unique selling proposition.

Here’s a good example:

2. Add a second image on hover

Having a second image on hover allows customers to see the product from different angles. This will also keep them on the page longer, which can reducing bounce rates.

4. Add an FAQ page

A comprehensive FAQ page can significantly improve sales by addressing common customer concerns and streamlining the purchase process. You’re not just providing information but you’re actively addressing barriers to purchase, building trust, and creating a smoother shopping experience through the FAQs.

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a free Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App. MooseDesk provides auto-reply features during non-business hours, a proactive help center, and a user-friendly widget layout, offering an effective solution to enhance customer support on your platform.

As an expert/enthusiast in UX, I recommend implementing these changes to improve customer experience when scrolling through your store.

My pleasure to help! Let’s discuss if you have any questions

Hi @CuteCubClub

Hey there! I understand you’re getting traffic to your baby brand website, Cute Cub Club, but not many sales. Let’s dive into some areas that might help turn those visitors into customers.

1-Product Presentation

  • High-Quality Images: Clear, high-resolution photos from multiple angles can make a big difference. Parents want to see exactly what they’re buying for their little ones.
  • Detailed Descriptions: Ensure each product has a thorough description highlighting features, materials, and benefits. For example, your 3-Pack Weaning Baby Plates could emphasize their safety and colorful designs that make mealtime fun.

2-Trust Signals

  • Customer Reviews: Displaying reviews builds trust. If you don’t have many yet, consider offering a small incentive for customers to leave feedback.
  • About Us Page: Share your brand’s story and passion for quality kids’ products. Parents love connecting with brands that have a genuine mission. Your About Us page is a great place to showcase this.

3-Website Usability

  • Navigation: Make sure your site is easy to navigate. Clear categories like Clothes and Accessories and Baby & Toddler Toys help users find what they need quickly.
  • Mobile Optimization: Many shoppers use their phones, so ensure your site looks and works great on all devices.

4-Checkout Process

  • Simplicity: A complicated checkout can deter buyers. Aim for a straightforward, minimal-step process.
  • Payment Options: Offering various payment methods can cater to different preferences, making it easier for customers to complete their purchase.

5-Marketing Strategies

  • Targeted Ads: Since you’re running Meta and TikTok ads, ensure they’re reaching the right audience. Tailoring your ads to parents interested in eco-friendly and premium baby products can increase effectiveness.
  • Promotions: Limited-time offers or bundle deals can create urgency and encourage purchases. For instance, promoting a bundle of Weaning Spoons and Baby Plates could be appealing.

6-Analytics

  • Data Review: Use tools to understand visitor behavior. Identifying where users drop off can highlight areas needing improvement.

Remember, building trust and providing a seamless shopping experience are key to converting visitors into customers. Keep refining your approach, and over time, you should see improvements.

If you need any other assistance, feel free to reply and I will try my best to help.

Best regards,

Daisy
