Hi, @foxdragon

I’d be more than happy to provide some feedback on your shop. Overall, your catalog has great variety and hits some niche trends. There are a few tips I have that will help increase time spent on your site, build trust and hopefully convert some sales.

  1. Shorten product titles: Your product titles are quite long. At Shopify, we have a keyword tagging system that lends well to SEO and website crawling. This means that you do not need to include so many keywords in the product title. Take a look at our help doc on how and where to include keywords to optimize your search engine ranking without sacrificing your product titles.
  2. Expand navigation: Based on your homepage, I can see that you have many categories of products. It would be beneficial to include these collections in a drop down menu as opposed to having just a single link to “Catalog”.
  3. Elaborate your brand on homepage: Your homepage is likely where most people will land when visiting your website (unless you are advertising a different direct landing page) so you want to be sure to captivate your visitors from the start. I believe your homepage could benefit from a slideshow section for visual branding and a featured product section for a call to action. We have a great blog post here on how to build a captivating homepage to help spark some ideas.

I hope these points help! If you have any questions, please let me know.

Best,

Hi Foxdragon,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.

First of all, I like the look of your store! It has many aspects that make it amazing already, but here is some feedback on how I think you can improve your store:

  1. Add an add to cart button / call to action button under your products on the home page

  2. You might want to go with a transparent background for your logo

  3. Adding a blog about pop-culture, and create interesting topics that can draw in potential audiences.

  4. Once you have some sales, it would be nice to add a post-purchase survey (marketing attribution – where they found out about you, or product feedback). You can reward your customers through coupons or points incentives to keep them coming back.

  5. Add a testimonial section/product review to help gather social proof and make your website look more trustworthy for new buyers

I hope this helps!

Hi @Holly
I tried to message you privately but couldn’t find the option! I’m considering hiring a Shopify partner to help me out, do you have any advice around that ?
