Videos added to product media do not show on published product page

I have been trying to add videos to my product media, but every time I successfully upload a video and add it to my product media, the video does not show on the published version of the product page.

says that a setting needs to be enabled in order for videos to work?

please help me to learn how to enable this setting so that I can properly set up my product pages.

Have you tried turning the video into a gif, like what is suggested in the post?

Also, are you using a theme from the official Shopify theme store? By default, all Shopify themes support video as a media type.

Also, make sure that your video meets Shopify requirements:

  • Video length: Up to 10 minutes
  • Video size: Up to 1 GB
  • Video resolution: Up to 4K (4096 x 2160 px)
  • Video file type: .mp4 or .mov
