I have my store for a little more than a week now and ive not made ANY sales. is this normal or is there a prolem with my store or the way it looks pls help feel free to give me any tips u want.
Is the look of ur site really what makes the different from no sales to lots of sales or are there other things that are as important.
Though the look of your store is definitely important when it comes to creating trust between the seller and customer, there are definitely other factors that are extremely important as well:
Are you targeting the right audience with your paid advertising?
Furthermore, have you done proper A/B testing with your paid advertising in order to identify winning audiences who are interested in what you have for sale, and eliminate the ones that are not?
Have you done everything in your power to brand your website so that customers are more likely to convert?
Have you added elements that will help solidify customer trust?
That being said, I’ll be quite honest — a lot of your images do look like they are directly ripped from a supplier website. In my opinion, you should take supplier images and videos and put your own spin on it, coupled with your own user-generated content in order to maximize your chances of success.
Second, I don’t see reviews on a lot of product pages. That is what is going to get a lot of customers to convert. Site navigation is also a bit confusing, which gives the site a cluttered feel. Reduce the amount of products that you have for sale and do away with the random box of quotes on the home page — it is doing absolutely nothing to add to your store. There are too many different colors through the website which takes away from the feeling of uniformity and makes things feel disorganized.
You’re going to need to niche down as much as possible in order to make your website feel more cohesive and unified. Get very specific with it. Being a tech website is not enough by itself. If you are selling gaming items, sell gaming items alone. Don’t sell gaming items and bottle mixers and water balloons and diffusers. Your customers will get confused about your identity, and quickly depart.
You’re not going to attract any sales simply because you have a store… now you need to spend time on exposure with marketing and ads. And that’s expensive if you don’t know what you’re doing. Google, for example, has become so bad with all the new changes they’ve made that ad agencies claim they see zero results in sales increase unless you now budget a minimum $5,000 a month in ads. But how many small stores and startups can spend that kind of budget?
You could try integrating it with Ebay or Amazon, but you need to have minimum 5x profit margin to cover for all the fees, returns, scam complaints to get free items, etc., to make a profit.
Your store is also way too minimalist and with too few items to gain interest within the category you’re selling. The average browser wants to see options of content within 1-2 seconds of landing on a page. They don’t want to be investigating or browsing to find out what you have… there’s far more competitors out there who provide what they want for you to be able to compete with a design like this.
In other words, a lot more work goes into a project like this than just publishing a store.

It is common for new Shopify stores to experience a slow start in terms of sales. Creating a successful online store requires time, effort, and careful planning. While the appearance of your store is important, there are other factors that can contribute to the lack of sales. Here are some suggestions to help improve your chances of making sales.
Ensure that you offer products in demand by conducting market research. Identify popular products, analyze competitors, and find what sets your offerings apart.
Make sure your website is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Optimize loading speed, simplify the checkout process, and ensure that your site is mobile responsive.
Clearly define your target audience and customize your marketing efforts to effectively reach them. Understand their needs, preferences, and pain points to create compelling marketing messages.
Run sales and promotions. This is a great way to attract new customers and encourage existing customers to buy more.
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive traffic to your store. Utilize various channels such as social media, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising to reach potential customers.
Establish a strong and consistent brand image on your website. Use high-quality product images, write clear and persuasive product descriptions, and design an appealing store layout that reflects your brand’s identity.
Build trust with potential buyers by displaying customer testimonials, product reviews, and trust badges. Offer secure payment options and clearly communicate your return/exchange policy to instill confidence.
Engage with your audience on social media by sharing interesting content, running contests, and interacting with your followers.
Provide excellent customer support through live chat, email, or phone. Respond promptly to inquiries and address any concerns or issues that customers may have.
Monitor your store’s performance using analytics tools to understand visitor behavior, conversion rates, and traffic sources. Continuously analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve your store’s performance.
