Why are my website sales slowing down?

Hello,

My website www.tech-tiger.co.uk has now been live for 10 months. Sales started of well was receiving an order a day but this now seems to have tailed off over the two months receiving one a week. I created and launched my previous website on Drupal which saw similar numbers to start with.

I am basically just looking for feedback / advise on how we can get more traffic to the site and sales. Shopify is new to me and I can tell it is a brilliant platform with loads to offer. If anyone can provide me and advise on things I can do too ensure I am utilising the platform fully it would be really appreciated.

Thank you for your reply! Really appreciate it. I am currently using an SEO company who are uploading this content for me yes. The pages do now seem to be ranking, my paid ads however are performing very poorly. If you can give me any advise or feedback it would be really appreciated

Hello Michael, I have had a look at your store and here are a few suggestions on how you could improve it to lead to more sales.

  1. Make use of a sticky header. This would allow customers to scroll through your page without having to scroll back up to access the menu bar and search button.

  2. Create a section for latest arrivals. I noticed you already have a section for top sellers which is great and I think having another for the newest products would also be great for your store.

  3. You should create and leave a section up for customer reviews. This is a very good way to know what your customers feel about your products after purchasing so you can estimate your satisfaction rate.

  4. Put an add to cart button feature on each product page. This would appear on the top right of every product and it makes it even more accessible for customers to add products that they like to their cart.   5. Have a look at the checkout process to ensure that there are no issues with it. You can do this by placing a test order in your store and analyzing the flow of the checkout. If any issues are found, it could be a big contributor as to why the sales are not high enough.
