Thanks for reaching out here about some stores that you believe are selling fake products, and believe to be using the Shopify platform. I can understand that this would be frustrating. I want to stress, we absolutely do not condone any type of fraudulent activity on Shopify.
Have you placed orders with these stores and had an issue? The best information about online orders and what to do when you are having an issue is in our FAQ post linked here. Just to clarify, Shopify is the website and shopping cart service that some merchants use to run their online store, however, we do not manage the shipping or sales of the store. If you’re having troubles with an order from a store, the best thing you can do is follow the steps outlined in the document linked.
Contained in that document is a link where you can report a store that you believe is using Shopify and is breaking our Acceptable Use Policy. Further, filing a claim with your bank, as suggested as a last resort in the FAQ, will trigger a notification internally if this does happen to be a Shopify store, which we can use to investigate the store as needed. For legal and privacy reasons we will not be able to share the results of this investigation with you.
