Why is 'France' no longer an address option on my site?

Hello, on one of my sites, www.manufactuur.be ‘France’ isn’t an option anymore when filling in the adress

Hi @MatheWieme

You probably accidentally left France out when setting up shipping rates

If you navigate Settings > Shipping > Manage rates (beside each of your shipping profiles), you can view which countries you’ve set up shipping rates for. Any countries not included in a zone will not be able to checkout.

For more help setting that up, take a look at the help doc here

Hey, I just did this and it’s still not working.

Hi @MatheWieme

Can you reupload the image, I can’t see anything.

Hi @MatheWieme ,

Thanks for reaching out.

I can understand how this can be confusing. But I’ll try to help the best I can.

This could happen in case you have Shopify Markets. Shopify Market settings have a higher priority than your shipping zone settings. For example, let’s say that you have France with shipping rates available, but it is also an inactive market in your Market settings. Even though there are shipping rates available, customers can’t place an order because France is an inactive market.

If you have Markets enabled on your account, head to Settings > Markets to check if France has been enabled. To add countries, select Manage > Activate market. Then you should see additional countries within the dropdown options on your checkout page.

Let me know if this helps.
