I set a discount code for a buy one, get one free special using the Buy X get Y option but when someone tries to buy the item they get the message that “the discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart.” Yet the correct item is in the cart, so I can’t figure out why the discount code isn’t working. This is for my Shopify store “Whole World Publishing,” and the item is the book Saving My Neck: A Doctor’s East/West Journey through Cancer.
