Hello,
We just upgraded our theme from Motion to Avante. We are looking for candid feedback regarding our new website from web developers who specialize in online ecommerce mobile devices. Our website is https://www.yonicque.com
Thank you
We are open to feedback for both the mobile view and desktop view for a better experience for Google Performance Max Ads. Thank you - https://www.yonicque.com
Hi, nice move upgrading to Avante, the store looks clean and the 60 day return promise is a strong trust point. I checked the live store and found three things worth fixing. First, none of the product images have alt text. In the products feed all 470 images across 59 products have an empty alt field, which hurts Google Shopping and image search and matters if Performance Max is fed from this catalog. Short descriptive alt text with colour, garment and fit would fix it. Second, 26 of the 59 products are completely sold out, and each colourway is its own product, for example the Destiny jogger set has a separate listing for every colour and most are unavailable. Ads pointing at sold out pages waste spend, so exclude them from the feed and consider merging colours into variants of one product so sales history and reviews sit together. Third, the product page I checked (YoniBomb tracksuit) has no star ratings or customer reviews, and for an $84 set from a brand many shoppers will not know yet, photo reviews usually lift add to bag more than any theme tweak. Happy to look deeper at the mobile experience if that helps.
Hi @yonicque ,
After reviewing your website, I think it looks great, with clear product presentation. After taking a closer look at the homepage, I have a few personal suggestions that might help improve the overall experience, especially on mobile:
Overall, you’ve made a great start with the new theme! I hope these suggestions are helpful, and I wish you continued success with your store and many more conversions ahead.
Best of luck!
Congrats on the theme switch, Avante suits a boutique like yours. A few honest notes from a quick look on mobile:
Your reviews section looks solid. Putting the star rating right under the product title on mobile would help it do more work.
Our website displays alt text for each product and its media. I’m not sure why its not reflecting on your end. Can you please show me where you are gathering that information @Akanjiopemiposi
Hello @namphan I am currently working with the developers regarding the menu. Thank you for your feedback.
@max_froonze Thank you for your feedback. On our end it only shows one announcement per line on both desktop/mobile with the timer showing correctly. I’m not sure why its not showing on your end.

Since you mentioned Performance Max, one thing in the catalog itself. Two of your 59 products are the Web Design and Web Revamp packages at $500 and $1,000. If the Google and YouTube app syncs everything, those sit in the feed too, and Performance Max can show a $1,000 web design package to someone shopping for a jogger set. I would exclude them from the Google channel so the budget stays on clothing.
Same idea with the $10 lashes. With free shipping and free returns, a lash order that came from an ad probably costs more than it brings in.
Are the lashes in the same Performance Max campaign as the sets?
Hey! The site looks clean overall, and the trust badges (free shipping, money-back guarantee, and Chicago delivery) are a nice touch. Here’s some honest feedback on a few areas that could be improved:
Menu: The menu is quite deep, with almost every category repeating size, color, and style submenus. This can make navigation overwhelming, especially on mobile. A simpler top-level menu with filters on the collection pages would provide a much better user experience.
Reviews: Only two reviews are displayed on the homepage, and the new arrivals section shows “No Reviews.” Displaying star ratings directly on the product cards would help build trust and encourage more purchases.
Welcome Text: The welcome paragraph is a bit too long and wordy. Shortening it to two lines would make it easier to read, especially on mobile.
Trust Badges: The icons are a little too large. Reducing their size would allow all four badges to fit on a single line on desktop, creating a cleaner layout.
Collection Pages: Some products display variant images, while others use color options. It would be better to maintain consistency by using either color swatches or variant images across the collection pages.
Additional Trust Elements: Adding a few more trust-building elements throughout the site could make it feel even more professional and give customers greater confidence when shopping.
Overall, the site looks great! These are just a few suggestions that could make the design more consistent, improve the mobile experience, and help build customer trust.
@yonicque on the zeros: I looked at the page source, and the countdown in your announcement bar is sent to the browser as 00:00:00:00. The theme’s script then fills in the real time (it’s set to Nov 3, 23:59, UTC-5). So you see it fine, but anyone whose browser is slow to run that script (weak mobile data, a content blocker, or another app’s script erroring first) can see zeros for a few seconds or for good.
Two quick checks:
@yonicque one more thing that matters for Performance Max: in the public product list, 26 of your 59 products have no stock on any variant. That includes all 14 Destiny jogger set listings, and 8 of the first 9 products in the default order are sold-out joggers.
If those sit first in your collections and in the Google feed, ad clicks can land on a page where nothing can be added to cart. Check Merchant Center for items marked out of stock, move sold-out items to the end of the collection (or hide them), and compare Performance Max conversion rate before and after.
Also, the jogger set exists as 14 separate products, one per color, and each one lists the other colors as variants too. That duplicates the same item in the feed, so one product with a color option would be cleaner.
Hi, congrats on the Avante switch. I only looked at the public pages (no checkout), and three things stood out beyond what’s already been mentioned. Your “Web Design & Web Revamp Package” ($500 and $1,000) is published to the storefront and shows up in site search next to the dresses, so if Performance Max pulls from the full catalog it could end up advertising a service to fashion shoppers; I’d remove it from the Online Store and Google channels or exclude it from the feed. The return policy opens with “60 days, risk free money back”, but further down sets with bodysuits, white clothing, leggings and swimwear are final sale, and one paragraph says refunds go to the original payment method only while another lets the shopper choose store credit, so a clear “Final sale” label on those product pages and one consistent refund rule would prevent unhappy surprises. Finally, the top bar promises fast free UPS shipping, while the policy says “1-12 business days” and “final shipping cost is displayed at checkout”, so a plain “Free US shipping, delivered in X-Y days” line under the add to cart button would back up what the ads promise.
Thanks for the screenshot. What you see on the page is the theme filling in the product name when no alt text is saved, so it looks fine on screen. The alt field saved on the images themselves is empty in the products feed, which is why it showed up on my end. It is a small fix, but not the main issue. The bigger one I found after checking all 59 products is that only 34 different page titles are used. All 14 Destiny jogger set listings share the exact title Women’s Jogger Set | Yonicque, with no colour in it, and each page points to itself as the main version, so they compete against each other in Google search. Six short sets and four spaghetti strap dresses have the same problem. This affects organic search rather than the Performance Max feed. The quickest fix is a unique page title per product in the Search engine listing section, for example with the colour and fit, or merging the colours into one product with a colour option. Happy to look deeper if that helps.
The countdown you’re seeing is rendered entirely on the client because the HTML is shipped with placeholder values (`00:00:00:00`). When the browser’s main thread is busy – for example on low‑end devices or when third‑party scripts are blocking – the JavaScript that calculates the remaining time can be delayed, leaving users with a static, incorrect timer for several seconds. This not only harms the perceived reliability of the announcement bar but also adds to the main‑thread work that can affect Core Web Vitals, particularly CLS if the element’s size changes once the script runs.
To eliminate the delay you have two practical options:
Implementing server‑side rendering of the countdown and cleaning up blocking scripts will ensure the timer is accurate from the moment the page paints, improving both user experience and performance metrics.

@yonicque thanks for working through all the feedback in this thread. With this many suggestions at once, here is the order I would tackle them in ahead of Black Friday and Performance Max. First, keep sold out products away from paid traffic: hide or move the 26 unavailable listings to the end of your collections, and check Merchant Center for items marked out of stock, since that is where ad spend gets wasted fastest. Second, add customer reviews to the product pages. I did not see any on the YoniBomb page, and shoppers deciding on an $84 set from a newer brand need that proof. Third, give each product its own page title and saved alt text, which is slower to pay off but costs nothing. The menu and hero video changes can wait until after the sale. If it helps, I am happy to do a quick mobile walkthrough of the path from product page to checkout and share what I find.
Hi @admad_kheiry I’m not sure why its displaying like that. We are showing both timers displaying on both mobile and desktop.
@umerzaman152 Thank you for your feedback.
@NoahMueller Thank you for your feedback.
